Echotherapy Centers-Thyroid nodules

Renowned doctors, competent contact personnel and information about echotherapy. Your echotherapy centre is ready to welcome you.

If you are interested by a treatment with focused ultrasound you can contact an echotherapy center by email or phone.

As a first step, the doctor will analyze your case and answer your questions and thus determine your eligibility for ultrasound therapy in order to arrange an appointment. If you are eligible, you will be given a treatment date.

On D-Day, you will complete all the paperwork with the treatment center. After a short passage in the waiting room, you will be taken to the treatment room. A nurse will install you and the doctor will carry out the anesthesia. During the procedure, you will be placed on the bed with the neck in hyperextension. The doctor positions the treatment head on your neck. He identifies the area to be treated and starts ultrasound treatment. The treatment head moves to treat the entire thyroid nodule. The treatment will last between 20mn and 1h30 and a single session is usually enough. Echotherapy leads to progressive volume reduction of the nodule and a decrease of symptoms.[1] Once the treatment is complete, you can carry on your usual activities as soon as you leave the echotherapy center.

Its information is given as an indication, the patient pathway may be different according to centers.
