How does it work?
The treatment works with therapeutic ultrasound, so-called high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). Compared to other treatment methods such as surgery, radiofrequency ablation or laser treatment, echotherapy is a no-cut treatment and therefore also limits the risk of an infection.

Echotherapy: a non-invasive, single-session procedure
In general, a single treatment session of echotherapy is sufficient. The procedure is not performed in a sterile operation theater as is doesn’t require an incision.
